Banks are in the business of loans. Accountants are in the business of keeping records. Business brokers are in the business of selling business.
Of those three, banks are the best place to go.
Family members and professionals may be a good source of loans. Family members will base their decision on their ability to harass you to get their money back. Professionals will base their decision on their appraisal of your business and on their appraisal of your abilities to run the business.
