What are the “standard” real estate broker fee percentages in Colorado for vacant land or existing homes? Are these set by law, or can they vary from realtor to realtor?

The commission is not set by state law, it is what ever the local agents think the market will bear. Usually you will find the agents across the country have agreed upon an amount that they want and everyone will charge that amount.
At this time, that amount is 6% of the Sales Price.
Keep in mind, not being fixed by law means it is negotiable and you might be able to negotiate if you have a really big sale that will generate a huge commission. ranger_co_1_75
