What do parents want to see on childcare ads?

business broker
devon asked:

I know the horror stories of babysitting flyers and such which is why im choosing to put my ads in businesses where my references(whom i have babysat their children for many years) have their own clients, and have agreed to advertise for me. im 19 and have a full time job at a mortgage broker business but need some extra cash. What would parents want to see? Im not inexperienced at all, ive actually been a nanny for two years but im just stumped. Thanks!

That you have a CPR and First aid card, which means you went through the course, that you’re timely and honest..(I’d also ask your references if they had an reoccuring issues with your care for their children) like the kids getting hurt or sick in your care consistantly…
You’d have to be open to a drug test as well.

I’d want to see that you have experience and that you are dependable and reliable. I’d want to know exactly what your hours are, so there’s no guessing. Make sure you somehow say you have been a nanny for 2 years…that shows your background. Good luck!

I wouldnt want to know you are only looking to babysit for extra money. I would want to know if you have experience babysitting children, references.

First Aid and CPR. I would want to know that you would know what to do in case of an emergency.
