If you buy from the company then it is harder to sell if the stock is falling like crazy so it is better to use a online broker and do your own home work, than to use a broker who suggest things to you because most of the time it is to thier own advantage. franksprung

I would just use a broker. The cost of trading is about the same between a broker and buying from the company. With a broker you get one statement, v/s a statement from each company. brewmaster_ga

Not a lot of companies offer this service. I would just as soon pay the $7.00 to 10.00 to the on line broker to have them give me the flexibility of buying and selling what I want, when I want. They also offer fairly decent account management tools and research tools. muncie birder
