So this may sound like a basic trivial question but I am in my mid 20’s and I don’t know much about brokers??? I do know my mom works with a real estate broker, there are loan brokers, insurance brokers and much more.. So… what are they exactly? Do you see my confusion? I just started with insurance and people tell me that they “work with a broker when they think about getting insurance”.
If someone can be so kind enough as to clarify in detail this broker business?

Thanks

My busines partner and Broker made a false report to the Real Estate Commission about me as an excuse to take over my business and drop my license. I have proof that everything he said was false and the commission agrees. Can I sue him for making a false report or should I just make a complaint to the board.

My fiance is considering becoming licensed to sell real estate. I am a first year law student. I have learned a little about real estate transactions and how they work. I understand the roles of both the broker and the attorney, but I’m wondering if my husband-to-be and I will be able to use our skills together to start our own business. Will I have to have a separate practice, or can the real estate lawyer be a part of the broker’s company?
