I am interested in getting licensed to be a sales agent - I just want MLS access, and be able to sell properties myself that I rehab. Am I required to be licensed if I want to sell my own rehabbed properties? And, if/when I do become licensed, am I required to work for a broker? I guess I just want to be licensed to have better knowledge, MLS access, and not have to work for a broker since I’m not looking really be an agent - just an investor. Can anyone help?

I have a degree in finance/real estate from major 4 year public university. I have about 2 years of somewhat irrelevant work experience doing administrative tasks in the work force.
