I have the opportunity to purchase my block of business from my agency for slightly less than 1X annual commissions. I just have a few questions for the other brokers/agents out there….

Are you aware of any sources to get industry reports, such as average broker client rentention - I am at 98%, I think the average is at 85%, but I need third party data?

Do you have any tips on selling my business. I own a small deli in a residential area that has been for sale for about 3 months. How long does it usually take to sell a small business and am I better off listing it with a broker. Actually I do have it listed with a business broker, but so far he’s only brought by 1 person.
