LoB asked: New career…new real estate license. One broker wants to charge me for their training and mentorship, one says I don’t need training or mentoring, just hands on help. Another charges a franchise fee but says in the end I will get a bigger percentage. They all promise to help new agents create a business plan and get started. Have you had this experience as a new agent recently? How did you decide? What advice can you give? Thanks.

Dwayne H asked: I am interested in opening a finance broker business and came across the Click That Finance franchise package - it’s not really a franchise, they set you up and you retain 100% commission fees. My only concern was the £6000 asking price. Is there a need to spend this amount or could I set this up myself?
Also, how do I develop my relationships with lenders/brokers etc? And would there be enough income in it to warrant having a small office on a busy road to allow customers to come in?
