How do you purchase Visa stocks when they go public? I do not have a broker and do not know a lot about stocks

So, in closing I would like to know suggestions for the first time stock purchaser, that is interested in purchasing VISA when it goes public.

1) Steps to do this?

2) Can you buy it online yourself without a broker?

3) Do you have to have a broker for a chance to purchase?

Thanks!

1-need a broker or a bank……….go to a commercial bank and tell them what you want, they will open an account for you…..or do the same at a broker………usually cheaper at a broker…..
    2–no

Visa is being sold by the top 8 large investment banks (Smith Barney, Goldman, Merril, Morgan Stanly,…).

Either open an account with them or any other investment company. After the order goes public (I think the Visa symbol is “V”) you should be able to buy the stock in the public market.

Not all IPOs go up in the stock market. The company is trying to raise as much money as they can. They are going to sell their stock for a super high price. Be carful if this is your first purchase. MR MONEY
