How do you become a real estate broker as well as a sales agent?

I wanted to know how I could continue to sale real estate and be a broker for myself. I know their a way around it since you cant be a salesperson for your own brokerage. Im in California.

You can sell as a broker.
You have to work as a salesman for 2 years in CA before you can take the brokers test. CAR should have something on their site in regards to the additional schooling required. Landlord
