First, you need a license and face huge start-up expenses. Next, you need to build a clientele and that is not easy in this very competitive business. There is no loyalty in this business. The other guy ALWAYS tries to undercut you in price and sometimes, you simply cannot match their price. I ended up working for a big freight brokerage business and didn't get rich but, made good money as I ascended through the ranks. Good luck in whatever you decide to do though!
