DB asked:

The broker is currently working to correct mistakes on my credit bureau free of charge as part of her service to get me a mortgage. However, for various reasons, I am not comfortable having her represent me in the search for the mortgage. What kind of etiquette should I follow to break the relationship after she has spent time working on my credit report?

I know that you don’t have to have a college degree. I also know that no major can 100% prepare you for the stock market. But what major do you think can help me out the most. My opinion has me saying economics but I also herd that finance and business is good.

Felt B. asked:

I have life insurance through Northwestern Mutual. I like the insurance, but I’m not too fond of my broker. Can I buy more Northwestern Mutual life insurance through a different broker (can I start a new policy through a different Northwestern broker)? What I mean is I would like to keep what I have with Broker A and buy more life insurance with Broker B? Both of them work for Northwestern Mutual. Am I obligated to continue to purchase insurance through Broker A because they both work for Northwestern? I hope I am being clear. Thanks.

My broker put me in a tight position. When I first started the process of my loan I kept on asking him when will he lock my rate but he never did it. So know I am days away from my closing he called me and tell me I need to come up with $4500 to buy down my interest rate so I can be qualified for the loan because my rate went up. I dont think it is fair. I cant report to his boss because he is his boss, he own the company. I cant turn away from the loan because either way I will loss out on alot of money. What can I do, is that illegal what he did. He didnt lock the rate when I ask him to, so he can put me in a tight positon.
