The Professional asked: For the past few months I have been working as an intern at a commercial real estate firm. I enjoy the time I spend there, the people I work with, and I learn a lot. For the most part, I have been working with this one business broker and I think he is as smart as they come.
Lately, I have been hearing rumors from an extremely reliable source that he wants to hire a few assistants in the near future. The business broker even mentioned it today and even hinted he might be interested in hiring me.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of situation? What do you guys think I should do?

andy B asked: I am not really interested in shops, bed and breakfasts or other types of small business.
My partner and I have up to £3 million to spend on a trading business for sale, I guess that means the annual turnover could be anywhere from £1m to £5m. I have looked at a few business broker sites and a couple of businesses for sale databases and not really been excited about what I’ve seen.
Any ideas?
