Frank asked: Hello,
I have the opportunity to purchase my block of business from my agency for slightly less than 1X annual commissions. I just have a few questions for the other brokers/agents out there….
Are you aware of any sources to get industry reports, such as average broker client rentention - I am at 98%, I think the average is at 85%, but I need third party data?

If you had $25,000 in liquid cash and you wanted to buy an established business in the price range between $80-120K, how would you go about doing it? Would you try to get SBA financed, find an owner financed business or combination of those? Should I initially consult a local business broker?

I am becoming more and more disgusted by Zecco…. Holding funds for up to three business days in a market this volatile seems kinda inappropriate…
Please note that I am asking about non-margin accounts. Thank you!
Nope, I am not able to purchase another stock immediately. They take up to three business days to make money available for any other trade.

johnpau2009 asked: 1) Usually when can brokers/lenders can lock a interest rate ? is it just during the business hours ? can they lock during the weekends also ?
2) Do they have to lock during NASDAQ business hours ? or do is relate to the bank hours who is lending money ?
3) Since rates keep fluctuating every hour and minute, how do they lock ? is a rate sheet valid for few hours ?
