Rita asked:
I have years and years of experience in small business, franchising as well as buying/selling businesses. I have worked with many businesse brokers and in general I am very disappointed by their “non-personal” “used-card-selling”approac. I beleive that a broker should always think about what is best for the client-even if that means not listing the business and advising client of value enhancing strategies. I am passionate about working with samll biz owners and truly helping them achieve their goal, may it be transfering ownership to enjoy retirement or acquiring a new business and living American dream. I want to now start my own business in business brokerage. i am afraid that the word “business broker” has negative connotation and debating if i should name my co. “Reliance business brokers” or “Reliance Business group” the later does not instantly reveal what I can do for the business owners, so i am not sure which one is the right choice. any thoughts/input will be truly appreciat

Dida asked:
I am exploring the opportunities of starting a commodities broking firm and focusing solely on corporates/producers/traders as my target client segment for whom I could provide hedging services. Is there a lot of money that can be made in this sort of a business?

I want an online broker, that is very cheap. I tried Zecco, but I sent my application back a few weeks ago and Heard nothing. I can’t find the page to fund my account. Which broker would want my business, but offers competitive pricing with Zecco? Thanks!

The Financier asked: I’m in the Real Estate Finance business and work as an independent broker representative. I send out a lot of emails, marketing pieces, and hand out a lot of business cards. I use my middle name as my last name on my marketing pieces and when talking with clients and associates because my last name is just too long and complicated, especially in an email address. I do, however, sign my legal documents with my first, middle, and last name all together. Is it legal to market myself using just my middle name? Can I legally use my middle name without my last name for business even for legal documents if I get some type of DBA (Doing Business As)?
Please someone tell me I don’t have to legal delete my last name to make this work!
