Mr. Questionair asked: I have a 2600 sq ft nails day spa salon (it’s very nice, it has 8 spa pedicure chairs, 8 manicure stations, 3 facial rooms, 2 Massage rooms and a laundry room. Pretty much fully equiped) that i want to get rid of fast because the rent is too high about $4,500/month. I tried posting on the classified and craiglist to sell the business for $15,000 which is very cheap just because i want to get rid of the business and get off the lease. I tried business broker and they said that the price im selling for is too cheap so they wont do it… my last message to that broker is that he can sell it for whatever value he want and we’ll just do 50/50 split. Im still waiting for his’ reply, but i dont know if that deal i made to him was good enough. Now what other option do i have? PLEASE HELP and sorry that my English is bad, i hope you understand me…
btw the business is in Inland Empire, Upland, CA…

Bob G asked: so i am just thinking to create a brokerage/website where orders will cost a fixed $1 dollar. I know there are many expenses/problems, etc. I am just asking if you think customers will be attracted to such thing or they will stick to known names like etrade, scottrade, etc.

FL agent asked: I want to get my 1-20 (Florida) and open a wholesale surplus lines brokerage firm. How difficult is it to get approval from insurance carriers to write business for them. I will not be dealing with the general public, but would be the middle man between independent agencies & actual insurance comapnies. My concern is being a new business, without an exisiting book of business, how likely are the insurance carriers to give me a shot at quoting & writing their products / policies.

Peter Behgoozi asked: I own a small business and order product from China. Every company claims to be a manufacturer, but it is apparent after a few orders that I am dealing with a broker and not the manufacturer directly. Is there a list anywhere or a way of verifying I am dealing directly with the manufacturer without expensive trial & error?

Pepper asked: I am currently doing a project for a business course. The project states to invest $100,000 imaginary into a stock and track it over a ten week period. Once that period is over then calculate the earnings or losses and factor in commissions and dividends. Where I am having trouble is finding specific information as to how much commission a broker would receive on a transaction like this. Any help?
